I had my fingers more than a little burnt with Network Marketing when I first started out on the web some 3 years ago.

It was a classic matrix style set up and - although I didn't actually lose any money - I ended up looking like a real fool to some of my own downline, or at least that's the way it felt to me.

Since that time I've avoided all MLM and anything that mentions "forced matrix", etc. Now I concentrate on building my "opt-in" list and finding quality, though not over-subscribed affiliate programs to join and I'm making pretty good monthly checks.

Thinking of developing a couple of products of my own during 2003 too.
