> Thanks very much and hope to see something soon.Alex, I like the site. I like the floating GENIE, that's also a powerful archetype. The most important thing, from MY perspective, is to get rid of all the pricing. It gives the viewer an INSTANT opportunity to object. What I recommend is that you figure out what PERCENTAGE they will save, and then you say something like,
"We're not sure yet exactly how much the final release will cost, but ALL those who have signed up for our newsletter between now and the release date will be guaranteed a whopping 40% (or whatever) off the release price. Take advantage of this opportunity now. The choice is always yours and you have absolutely nothing to lose. Sign up for your guaranteed X% discount now."
It keeps the price out of their head until the release date, and instead fills it with a big percentage discount number instead. Then when you mail them with news of the release, you notify them that they have only 1 week to take advantage of the offer and as always, there is a no-risk money back guarantee, etc. (you decide on that)
But you get my point, right? Pre release price info--no. Pre release discount percentage info---yes.
Your payment for this wonderful service will be to say YES to a potential JV project with me when you get up and going a little bit (not really)...I'm still in development.
Oh yes, here's a few more things:
1) Get the brown small writing off the E-book covers since the info is right there on the left of the AD. And use th extra space to make a WOW title saying, "FORM GENERATORS!" or whatever it is. What's there now is not impressive or eye-catching.
2) Take another photo. Unless you're trying to communicate with MARS get that white button off of your hat!!! It's these tiny details that DO make a difference in the impression they leave. I was wondering, what the hell is that button for?
Ok, Alex, sorry this presentation isn't more coordinated. I'm doing this On the fly...but take a look at this please:
"P.S. Even if you don't buy my software, at least sign up for the newsletter. We all use Java Scripts in some form or fashion, and who knows, maybe I can provide a few tips to help you out. You will get some FREE ebooks just for subscribing."
No-no. Noooooo no. It sounds like you're unsure of yourself and pleading. And then offering a bribe on top of it. YOU DON'T WANT THOSE PEOPLE ON YOUR LIST, OR SO I'VE BEEN TOLD TIME AND AGAIN.
"P.P.S. Oh, I guess I should remind you here, that I'm reducing the release price of my software over 40% for those who subscribe before the release date. Can't hurt, now can it?"
Hey baby, cmon over to my place for a little sumthin sumthin tonight...it can't hurt now, can it? You WANT these people to get into bed with you alex. Mention no prices, and only the discount IN THE BIG YELLOW BOX AREA. Let consumer's minds do the rest. Let them say, "Ok, I'll get on his list. I'd like to see what this final price will be." Let THEM say "it can't hurt to be on his list." After you mention the discount you can also add, "Once you sign up, I'll send you confirmation that you will receive a discount, along with a FREE E-book titled X (retail value $49)..."
The PS should say,
"PS REMEMBER, IF YOU WANT THE 40% OFF, YOU NEED TO SIGN UP NOW AS IT WILL NOT BE OFFERED AFTER THE RELEASE DATE! THAT IS A PROMISE!!" (This doesn't mean you can't offer a different promotional discount, like a Valentine's Day Special...lol)
"PPS. REMEMBER THE FREE E-BOOK 'X' (RETAIL VALUE $49) WILL BE LINKED IN YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL. SEE YOU THERE! SIGN UP NOW!" (sign up box)Anyways, that's the GENERAL idea. You make it sound any way you like, that's just one formula. See what others say, too.
Best of luck,
SAM
