I've done quite a bit of research into which fonts sell best.

I've used "split-testing" and run-up exactly the same page, but with two different types of fonts and font sizes and have managed to determine the very best sales combination as a result.

And the answer?

Nearly all of my 8 product sites sell best with 12pt Arial for the copy and 10pt Courier for the testimonials.

How much does your font matter?

Well, my gut feeling would have been, “not all that much”.

BUT in reality, having scientifically tested this, I have found that I can sell to twice as many visitors by getting my font usage right!

To put that another way…. in a real life test over several days, I would sell 20 of a toolkit with the BEST FONT combination, against only 10 with the WORST FONT combination.

Fascinating and just one of many crucial issues frequently overlooked by online marketers.
