It's a useful standby to have a mailmerge program that you control from your own PC, when all else fails with autoresponders.

I actually use Worldmerge because GetResponse has an annoying limit of 1,000 people for a one time blast mailing. That's something about GetResponse that they don't mention before you buy the autoresponder and I quickly came to regret long before my lists eventually grew into the tens of thousands.

So sometimes I export my GetResponse lists out and use WorldMerge to send.

Not for long as I'm gradually moving ALL my lists over to the excellent http://howtocorp.proautoresponder.com which has no such mailing limits.
