One of my offices is in Costa Rica and I recently learned that some governments filter out everything coming from auto responders. The from email address coming from Aweber is quite long on their confirmation email and most end up in a spam file here in Costa Rica. Aweber will not let be go back to non confirm op in so I will be cancelling my service with them. I recommend you stay away from confirmed op in. I am really annoyed with AWeber for not allowing me to change. Most people are telling me they are staying away form confirmed op it and they have no problems. If they run across a small problem, they notify their ISP immediately. I will be trying out ProAutoresponder next. If you are testing the confirmation with your own email addresses, remember, once the email address is in the data base as unconfirmed, you will not get a confirmation. Test the confirmation with a fresh email address. If a lead does not confirm with AWeber it shows up in a unconfirmed data base and that same lead can not op in again for 30 days using the same email address. That is nonsense in my opinion. Talk about losing business!
