I would like to add (and ask for) a little more input on Corey's software
called MailLoop.I have read about it alot in Corey's stuff and I have read alot about how
dynamic IP addresses face filtering due to the fact tons of spam come from
infected broadband PCs. (Dynamic IPs are the type assassined to dial up and cable)AOLs own documentation quotes that dynamic IPs will be filtered.
Corey's MailLoop runs on your machine and sends mail (and I cannot quote Corey
on this) from the machine or thru your email server thru SMTP.Now, SMTP from your own mail server sounds good. But, I know for a fact my
cable provider (Cox) blocks SMTP connections to anyone other than themselves.
This keeps users infected with spam sending viruses from using the open relays
spammers use to send spam.Yet I know and receive autoresponder email from major marketers that use autoresponder software sending thru broadband connections.
What are we to truly believe Tom?
Do you have anymore documentation on this?
