AdSense questions.

Can Google AdSense code be put into an external lookup file (like a external css text file) so that it can be accessed by any number of pages on your site?

Is it technically possible, and would Google allow it?

And if it is possible/allowable, would the ads then be identical on each page that referenced the external file?

And is that a good/bad idea anyway?

Maybe I should just stop for breakfast - too many questions are running through my hungry brain right now! :-)
