Hi Paul,
I'll echo those that use ProAutoresponder. I used GetResponse previously which is excellent autoresponder but each additional campaign resulted in additional fees. With ProAutoresponder it's no additional charge. I've been with ProAutoresponder for about 6 months.
The only drawback I've seen so far is their lack of a scheduled broadcast feature. With GetResponse I could type up my newsletter and schedule it's broadcast in the future, then go out of town, etc and know it would be sent out. ProAutoresponder doesn't have that feature yet.
Some times their responses to questions are slow, more than 24 hours. Usually they are answered in 24 hours.
One of the features they do offer is audio email. I've used it and it works great. It is an extra charge, but not terrible expensive. If you want to give an extra touch to your newsletter subscribers or to someone who purchases your product, you can attach an audio of your welcome message to the email they are sent. They click on a link which plays your recording. It's very easy to set up and use.
Audio has been getting bigger and bigger and I believe will gain more popularity in 2003. If you have been on Armand Mornin's site for his Ebook generator (www.ebookgenerator.com) he has audio testimonials. There are more and more Internet radio shows like Peter Twist's. Plus many people are producing audio ebooks, takes, etc. So emails with audio are a logical step.
A couple of months ago, their database access time was getting sower and slower. they did upgrade and add new servers which helped a lot.
Overall I'm very happy with ProAutoresponder.
Hope this helps,
Rick Adams
