HOWEVER, there is one underlying theme in the ebook that I got right away - within 1 month of joinign the Big Dogs, and adhering to that one nugget of advice, I was the owner of a successful subscriber site (at the time $20/month). Few months later, same techniques, ANOTHER subscriber site. 5 safelists, as well (which is wher eis started). And, now, one of my sites is now listed in the Big Dog CHiP program (for 2004).
I can show absolutelte PROOF that the technique works if someone actually isn;t so lazy as to think they can make money from program they really know nothin about. The trick is to do research, get to know EVERYTHING, and when youget someone under you, HELP THEM know what YOU know. SO many uplines want the check and don;t want to work for it.
Now, i admit, the 1 - 2 hours day is not exactly true - FAR off the mark. For over 1.5 years I have been toiling 10 - 15 hours each day (some days almost 24 full hours).
SO, what was the one nugget of info I took and only 1 onth in had myself a good profit? OWN WEBSITES! Period. How else will you get a GOOD list of leads to which to hawk other stuff. Run them honestly, give them something they need, they stay around. And, they listen. Lead them right, THEN you can introduce them to Big Dog CHiP, because then they know with you helping they will show something for their efforts.
There was an earlier post from 2003 that did state the obvious - devote 6 - 12 months, and really work it, youcan get in on the online game, too. Don't expect riches, but you CAN expect a modest full time income on a regular basis.
Oh, I should mention this as well: I did use the FFA leads to start that first website. I still sometimes use them (when I have the time) to promote. Not a lot comes form them, but after about 3 or 4 months, you can easily have at least 10 - 20 new subscribers to whatever you are looking to get them into.
Outdated? No, not really. Maybe one day, but not yet.
Now, I;ve been focusing on my own sites for the past year and a half, but within a month or two from this post, with all the proof of my own small successes online using the Big Dogs trechniques, how many people do you think might just take a chance on letting ME show them how it works? Remember, it's with PROOF, not hype or pretending to be successful. Just with the sites I have is enough to get them thinking. And, honestly, I owe my current business to Stan of the Big Dogs. Not 100%, of course, but without him and the Big Dogs, I wouldn;t be doin this full time (maybe not at all).
Just because something;s been around for awhile doesn't mean it's outmoded or outdated. That in itself is short-sighted. (grin) Sorry, I had to put that one in there - seemed to fit in nicely. Anyway, think of it the OTHER way - it's been around for so long because it worked, and still works.
Well worth the $20 for the ebook - and well worth the $200+ to get into the CHiPs (16 of them now, no sign-up fees other than the monthlies).
Oh, what the heck, maybe I can start a new downline with the here . . . anybody want to take that $20 challenge? Remember, if it doesn't work, you can ALWAYS get a refund within 90 days. I can show you how I did it - how it works, and how it's supposed to be done.
First though, if you think you'll become rich overnight with ANY program or set of programs, think again. But, I CAn show you how to get a good part-time income that makes a difference, and if you are willin to devote the time, energy, and further investment (not to me, to buy other things like domains, scripts, and such to grow the business), you CAN be doing this full time and enjoy the independence I have for over a year.
