Hi Mike,

I have to disagree with you on a few points.

The first thing that you say is correct about "The trick is to do research, get to know EVERYTHING". The problem I have with systems and books like this one is that they don't tell you that up front!

It's all simply made out to be a piece of cake if you purchase their book or product and then you will make a mint online.

Now it's all right for you to do the research because you'd already been online for some time. How about the average guy/girl who wants to start then own business. They come along a buy this book and what they get is one big affiliate program that they don't understand but have been promised that it's "easy" and will "make them a fortune quickly". What a load of rot.

I guess I am just fed up with all the rubbish online. Secret and secret, anything with secret in I usually avoid like the plague.

What the internet actually needs is a bit more honesty. A few more sites that will tell you up front what to expect. (a bit like this forum!) Sure you won't get as many sales, but the ones you do get will be with you for a very long time.

For my money, the fact remains.

Build good content, get decent links, put yourself on s.e's and then build a good newsletter with follow ups.

If you are really looking to help as many people online as possible rather than just put money in your own back pocket, "good information/content" beats one so called "secret" product that will only help a few any day.
