Hi John,
Yup I agree with you 1000 percent. Ask and you shall receive is a statement of "fact". But it helps a lot if you add this one with each of your request:
"Your will is mine".
Because by saying that you are in effect take your hands completely off and open to receive helps in most unlikely places.
The old man has a great sense of humor. He shows up where you least expected.
