Hi Mel,

I think it probably does depend on the kind of person you are. I still work for someone else, but I get to do the majority of it from home and I thoroughly enjoy my life now.

I used to travel 35 miles on a bus to work every day at 6am and then not get home until 7pm at night - that was BAD! And it didn't even pay that well, which made matters worse.

The cool thing about the Internet is you can pick and choose the people you work with, "socialise" with and "talk" to, so rather than being stuck in a 9-5 with people you maybe don't like, you get to mix with like-minded people that you do like.

Lonely? Nope! I just got myself a hamster called "Maisey" and she keeps me company when I'm on the PC :-)
