Totally agree with this, BUT..
I'm not afraid to call it Who it is. It's GOD. God actually created the universe, so I don't think the universe is making any decisions. It is just programmed to respond to our FAITH (or lack thereof).
How else could Jesus, by His command (Word), raise the dead, kill a figtree, calm a storm, give sight to the blind, multiply fish, get money out of a fish's mouth, etc. etc.?
Moreover, Jesus said that we could do the same thing through faith. I have been trying to do this for years. It is a major struggle to speak positive, faith filled words when everything on earth is crumbling around you constantly.
However, I have seen the miraculous results from doing it and I will never quit working at it even if I might fail often. Because I've been at it for so long and have had so many amazing things happen (along with the colossal failures) I know it works and that it is God's will for us to do it. But, again, I can only imagine God's chagrin (if He can indeed be chagrined - and I think He can) that so many credit "the universe" when it is the creator of the universe who should be getting the credit. Just the opinion of someone who's been at life awhile :) Don't mean to offend anyone.
