Sorry I just had to say that.
I am no longer saying Lurker, now I say observer.
I have a positive take on cookies. As I have on
most things in life. :-)Let's say that you sell a product, for a program
that you belong to, that cost $200 so it might take a couple of viewings for a prospect to buy. They come to your webs site and read your great
content and they are convinced that the product
is worthy of purchase. You even ask the to
bookmark your site. but......like a lot of people, just doesn't have the
money right now, so they leave and forget to
bookmark.A month down the road they are better financially
but unfortunately for you they have forgotten
you and your web site. They do a search for what they think the product
was and find another web site that sell this
product and they buy it.You are the one that set the purchase process in
order but who got the sale?If you used a cookie that may have made you $200.
If people don't like cookies they can turn them
off. This is my own opinion but I hope it helps.
