Hi Mel,
In the last few days there have been a couple of posts on other forums from people who say they have gotten their refund.
One said he called the phone number listed on the website, Ducharme himself (!) answered the phone, and he processed the himself. This poster suggested that you have your original transaction id ready when you call, as you need it to have your refund processed.
Another person said he sent an email requesting a refund,and he got it.
I don't know how true these accounts are. Maybe Ducharme is responding to the criticisms and cleaning up his act.
While I never called the phone number, I did send email after email requesting a refund. Not one was answered, so I contacted my bank and did a chargeback. Got my money back in about a week. If you have no luck with getting your refund from Ducharme in a timely fashion, then consider the chargeback route. Good luck.
