Hello Adrian, from a VERY satisfied customer of YOURS.
One point about your post: It not only matters WHO recommends the product, but whether they've actually read or used it themselves.
See, I've purchased a number of ebooks and software products after reading a recommendation from one respected marketer or another. For the most part, I've been very pleased with my purchase.
In this case I was NOT pleased -- I thought the book was rehashed crap. When I asked the VERY respected marketer who recommended it whether he had read the ebook, he admitted HE HAD NOT READ IT, but had just "heard" good things about it.
Now this makes me seriously question any recommendation from the so-called "gurus." And it makes me wonder why so many products seem to have "testimonials" from the same cast of characters. Is it "You give me a good review and I'll do the same for you?" Do they actually read or use the products they recommend, or is "just good business" to lend their names to each other's offerings? Makes me wonder . . .
Peace,
Mike McBrideke McBride
