Hello,
I've been on the Net for more than 5 yrs now... although I've been a lurker through this venu for some time... I see some still have problems understanding "cookies" and how to set the computer to keep or delete them...
If you have WindowsXP Pro, you would go to "TOOLS" then the "PRIVACY" tab, then look for "WEBSITES Section" near the bottom of that tabpage. "To override cookie handling for individual web sites click the "EDIT" button."
When the next window opens, just follow the simple directions there and you'll only have cookies you wish to have, from this day forward. Unless of course you change those settings again.. ;)
I will reiterate what someone else said in explaining cookies; Cookies can only be read by the site that applied it to your computer, no other site can access another sites cookie's. And, without using cookies, there is no other way to track in order to get paid for something you're selling.
I trust this information clarifies things for some of you. :)
Sincerely,
Anne R. Binkle
