Hi Laura,

You are very welcome. You and Joe have put together one of the most comprehensive information products on the subject of RSS feeds I've read yet ;-)

I don't know if you are aware of this, but with http://www.wordpress.org you are actually able to control your summary content.

By default the software will automatically merge the first few sentences of your post as the RSS summary. However, you are free to write your own keyword rich description in a "description box" This eliminates the problem you mentioned.

As you said, it is personal preference... but wordpress does solve the problem you mentioned.
