...that we don't even know the names of the best marketers--I mean we could look them up, but they aren't household words or anything.
Most of us sort of run in the same circles, and meet and hear about the same marketers. But most of these marketers we hear about are known because they TELL US they are the best, because they have a product to sell. And true, they know what they are talking about and have good info to share, but...
...let me sit down and talk to the folks from eBay or Yahoo! These were "regular" people who started little ventures that ballooned. While Yahoo has some competition, eBay is still positioned as "THE" online auction.
Then I've had the opportunity to hob nob with multi-millionaires running various online ventures...100% ONLINE...a true internet business. And some of these folks have one million dollars running through their business each MONTH. They are far too busy to sit down and tell us how they do it. I spent six months with one of these guys absorbing everything I could. But the odd thing is, I could post his name here and NO ONE would know him. Weird, eh?
I could go on, but you get the point.
So in a way, your question is who is the best internet marketer who has chosen to make him or herself known to the public. :)
