From another SCARED internet marketer..

Tell them the truth. If you are honest enough, people will be willing to help you, my mom used to tell me...and as most moms are, she is right 99.9% of the time.
Ok, I need your help.
Here's my story.
Sometime in December, I asked some programmers to write an autoresponder script for me with
features that can't be matched. Something that has all the bells and whistles of all the existing autoresponders in town. Now five months after, I got what I wanted.Beta testing is 99.5% done and the website is also 80% finished (I have revised the webpages using 4 different designs out of confusion or excitement, I don't know)
So you might think that I am now ready, excited and I can see dollars just pouring into my bank account.
Not really..
My big dilemna is how to market it. Thou I have been marketing to a niche market since 2000 (selling immigration ebooks), I really don't know how to market a software product like this. I don't know how to approach the big players in the market. I simply don't know where to begin.
And I am so scared right now... So scared that now I just wanted to give away this product for free. Maybe I can generate enough mailing list then I can sell them something else.
What do you think?
Is there anyone out there who can give me an honest to goodness advice as to what
to do? Please tell me anything, just don't ask me to buy, as my funds are already so low.
Our cost to develop this product is sooo high, that I don't even have anything left to pay for ezine advertising.Any suggestions? Just do-able ones, please. I am really so tired of all those marketing materials that I bought before but does not really give me anything of real value. Or maybe it's just me. But I am not lazy, nor do I want an overnight quick rich scheme. I always do what I am told to do. But still..
