Hi Chickenlegs, is that your real name? Anyway, I personally think that there are quite a few new autoresponders on the market at the moment and unless you are a big name, it may be difficult to sell.
If you were going to do it for free then you could always offer a simple free version which carried ads, then offer an upgrade for a fee.
The one big advantage I see would be if your autoreponder offered multiple autoresponders, as oppose to some of the other popular autoresponders which only give you one.
