C'mon, you're going to have to be a bit more persistent than
that. First of all, you have to realize that a lot of your
potential JV partners get a ton of email and lots of offers.
Yours has to really stand out. What percentage did you offer them? Most people offer 50%.
It might be better for you to offer more than that
initially. Once you've had a couple of successful JV's, ask
your partners if they'll give you a testimonial. You can
then use that to sign up more JV's (and affiliates) at more
favorable rates.I think you had the right attitude about not letting the
insults get to you but don't give up on the idea of JV's.
Also, 'gurus' are not your only potential JV partners.
Anyone that's got a targeted list of people that trust them
can help you get customers. Once you've proven yourself with
a few smaller list owners, you can use that to help get the
attention of the bigger fish.In order to do this properly, you need to use ad tracking
for each JV. You need to see how many visitors your JV
partner sent you and how many of those visitors signed up.
Calculate your visitor value by dividing the total amount of
sales by the total visitors. A visitor value over $1 will
interest most JV partners.Good luck with your autoresponders and your marketing.
All the best,
