From idea to *Final Product*

Hi guys,

just checking in after the xmas holidays I hope everyone had an awesome time and santa has been good to you. :-)

I'm looking for info for an idea that I have lets just say that I don't have the financial backings to create the product idea that I have and I'm looking for Joint Venture partners to share my idea with how would I go about doing that without have one of these people or person taking my idea and developing it themself before I get mines even started ???

I guess I'm asking how I can safeguard myself from having my idea stolen?

I have a lot more questions I want to ask but I feel this one is the most important of them all right now, I would love to hear your feedback ASAP cheers.
