Visitor Tracking *LINK*

Hi,
I'm trying to track the visitors to my website as sent by my affiliates, in terms of clickthroughs and sales. I'm using ClickBank for my affiliate support.
An affiliate sends me visitors using the following ClickBank format:
http://hop.clickbank.net/?xxxxx/yyyyyyy
Where the x's are the affiliate id and the y's are my id.
The scenario is an affiliate writes a recommendation for my product and places it in their newsletter. They use their affiliate URL to send visitors to my site. So I want to track visitors from that specfic affiliate URL and then calculate a conversion rate for that affiliate.
Since I'm not writing the newsletter or recommendation I can't place a tracking URL in the info.
My website stats show unique visitors but that is an overall number. It does show refferal URL's but the numbers don't match up. I've asked one affiliate who does track his ad URL's and his clickthrough number to my site doesn't match what I can derive from my website stats. I trust his numbers.
Is there any type of tracking software or script that does this? Any that you would recommend?
