If you want an absolutely free FTP client, try FileZilla. You can download it at this link:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=21558
Just choose the most recent executable version (which is currently FileZilla_2_2_10_setup.exe). You'll be taken to a download page where you'll have to choose the download site. Choose the one closest to your location and click on the little icon that looks kinda like a sheet of paper at the right side of the entry. The download should then start, and if it doesn't, there will be another link to click.
When you install it, just accept the defaults unless you don't want it to store passwords, etc.
Once you get it installed, open the help file that comes with it. At the bottom of the first page, in the "See Also:" section, there is a link to "Quick guide to FileZilla". That will help you get started. Of course, the rest of the help file has lots of other helpful information.
There's also a help forum for FileZilla at http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=68109 in case you get stuck. As always, search the forum before you post because chances are good that your question has already been answered.
All in all, not bad for a free program!
HINT: If you need software for your business and don't want to pay, just go to your favorite search engine and type in "open source" plus whatever software you want. In this case, I would type in "open source FTP" - and the link to FileZilla is the first one to pop up. Some open source programs are better than others, but it is a great way to get free software that can be used for your business and other commercial purposes.
