When I was first starting out, I too bought his book for $97 and felt it was a total ripoff. Not only that but I signed up to use his "Contact Them" software, which I learned the first time I used it that all it does is SPAM thousands newsgroups.
I even received a mystery charge of $139 to my checking account from him.
