I think you're watering down the issue too much, it is more serious than that.
Steven Ducharme is a true fraud, a liar and makes marketing look bad. He is a large reason why people believe marketing is evil.
Not only is his book a total load of crap -- not even worth printing out and burning -- but he quite literally steals money. People need to be warned, and he should be blacklisted, not simply brushed off and "moved on."
False marketing pisses me the hell off, and it should piss you off too. The quality bar needs to be kept very high, unfortunately this niche accepts lower standards more and more.
