Hi,
Ive just noticed that all websites these days, at least the so called "internet marketing gurus",or any site thats from an aspiring online marketer looks exactly like the clone of next one.
Some point of commanality
1) all have the same single page look and feel
2) same layout
3) all have tons of testimonials
4) every instance of the product name is a hypelink to the order page
5) all start off with a "from the desk of:"
6) all are designed to look like a letter
7) all have a "catchy" title like "Do you know" or "Isnt it time you..." basically a look at me now kind of quote
8)all have a signature at the bottom..
9) all have a cheap javascript generated "special offer expires at midnight" with the current date as the cutoff date.
10) an exit popup asking you to join their mailing list and get some free report.i guess this is supposed be some kind of psychologoical tactic as Armand Morin propogates along with yanik silver.
Im sick of looking at sites with this kind of look and feel and contrary to being influenced to buying im put off.
None of the sites offer a free trial like conventional software companies..
My point being.. does this approach really work? or am i the only guy feeling that this approach, followed fully, sucks.. some parts are good though.
No offense meant to anybody using this format..
Cheers,
Satyaatya
