In Response To: Am I entitled to a Windows OS CD with my new system or not? (Larry Sands)

It would be my understanding that if they gave you the computer with the OS on it then they should give you the installation ID and a Cd. I would ring them first and ask re their policy and then advise that you will ring Microsoft and confirm.

See how that goes and of course politness and and not getting to emotional always helps. This is business not personal.
