On the other hand, a "secret revealed" book won't work like this. People would just look up the secret and not buy the book. Also there's nothing stopping people from taking screen shots of the whole book. The time limit would have to be pretty short.
Wait, I think I've got it. Limit the total number of pages viewed regardless of the order. This way you can look at the index, follow the hyperlink, look at a few more pages, and then you have to buy the book (or not).
