Here is a tutorial for creating iframes you will find useful:

A killer example of an audio/visual tour using frames that could easily be turned into ebook format:

Next week I expect to have my new software finished which generates exe ebooks that consist only of frames with a defined html page assigned to each frame.
I personally recomend iframes over frames any day. You can get the same effects but iframes are just so much more flexible.
For ebooks iframes are much better because you can place them in central locations on the pages you are framing in your ebooks.
My partner Russell brunson used iframes to create "audio ebooks" using my tools at www.TotalWebAudio.com and in just a few short weeks generated over 10,000 downloads.
Also I have created audio technology that will allow you to control or 'call' content to iframes as the audio plays whether it is embeded in an ebook or webpage.
If you just want to get some good free education on the old school frames stuff here are couple of good sites:

P.S. Want to see another creative use of a frame? Go to www.TotalWebAudio.com and click the play button in the audio toolbar. then watch what happens in the menu area on the left where the picture of the lady with headphones is.
