Why You Should Avoid MLM or NM Like a Plague...

Hi folks,
Mark Joyner recently released a new NM program known as The Free Agent Path.I'm one of the first people who joined The Free Agent Path before it's even beta tested. Mark Joyner was my sponsor.
Very few people know about FAP that time, nobody talked about it. I visited their website after invited by a well known marketing guru, they said it's not MLM or downline club or "anything like I've ever seen", they perfectly applied the Zeigarnik effect on me, I signed up.
I was suspicious on them when I joined this because they told me to recruiting people to "build my downline" which is very similar to MLM.
They appeared to be so misterious, they don't tell me in detail what their "system" is and they still haven't any income streams that time, they just keep "pumping" me with motivational and philosophical words,Mark understands human psychology very well,he pushed some of my "hot buttons",I was almost tempted by this but I finally decided to not promote them until I'm clear about what is this all about.I thought, if I haven't make money with this system, how can I ask people to join this?
Now I'm glad I never promote them, it appears that FAP is just another MLM/downline scheme, Mark and Mike just tweakened them so instead of promoting one MLM program, they promote several MLM programs at once to make "multiple streams of income". That might sounds cool, but MLM is still MLM. Here's why I recommend you to NOT join any MLM stuff...
First reason, although not every MLM product is bad,but most of the MLM products are inferior or overpriced.
I bought some products by an MLM company from my friend who insisted me to buy that product (we're no longer friends anymore because he keep annoy me to join this stuff, this is another side effect of joining MLM.)
In my opinion, their product is over priced and the quality is not so good (if not poor.) I wonder why many people still sell them and keep telling me that this is the best product in the market.
I also have several nightmare with other MLM products but that's not important anymore.
You probably don't realize this, if their product is really superior, they don't need to market them using MLM, two tier affiliate program is enough, if they're offline, they can use direct mail or sell them at store.
There's a lot of good products out there that sells more successfully without using MLM. take an example: Ken Evoy's SiteSell products, Loreal skin care products, Weider nutritions, Black Belt Magazine etc.
They don't use MLM but they're more successful than most of the MLM companies.
The fact is,the majority of customers who buy those MLM products are the distributor of those MLM companies themselves who "forced" them to buy their products every month to keep their "position".
Take an example of a famous MLM company who sells weight loss products, if you're involved in MLM for some time, chanches are that you know them.
They almost never advertised their weight loss products (I never seen them anyway). Instead, they advertised a "Work At Home Business Opportunity", "Make $4000-$8000 A Week!!!" etc.
8 out of 10 "Work At Home" advertisement you read in your local newspaper or brochure is promoting this company but they never mention the company's name on them.
If you're clever, you should be very skeptical on them.
Think about this, why don't they just advertise their weight loss products if it's really good? Why should they keep misleading people with "Work At Home Business Opportunity" while most of their distributors are losing money instead of making money?
The answer is simple: THEIR PRODUCT SUCKS! They can't sell them without using MLM,they're over priced and dangerous for some people. In fact, there's several people who gets killed because of using their products. Read the news here:
==> http://www.quackwatch.org/04ConsumerEducation/News/ephedrainsurance.htmlSecond, I think MLM is a bad business model. An ideal business model should be win-win-win, the company wins, the seller/distributor/affiliate wins, and most importantly, the customer wins too.
In MLM case, it's either win-win-lose or win-lose-lose, the company always win because they make lot of money, but their customers always lose by buying inferior or over priced products. Ever heard an old saying: "There's a sucker born every minute"? that's the motto of most MLM companies.
Third reason, promoting MLM can drop your credibility almost instantly, look at Kim Thomas, anybody who promotes MLM will earns a big "distrust" on her part, don't ever call her stupid, there are several hundred thousands people in the world who's like her, one of them is the legendary marketer Gary C. Halbert. Is Gary stupid? He's way more clever than most of network marketers. I recommend you to read his briliant article: "Why Multi Level Marketing Sucks" here:
==> http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/newsletters/zdla_multi_level_marketing.htmThe article is very radical, it might hurt some of you MLMers, but it's very make sense and very funny for people who don't like MLM.
People who dislikes MLM has a reason,, strong reason to dislike it. Here's one of the reasons: although there is very, I mean very few ethical people who involved in MLM, most of the MLMers are selfish people who only think about themselves.
The majority of MLM distributors never used the products themselves. Or worse, they know that the products are inferior but keep promoting them for the sake of making money, dirty money.
You can read the news about how some people already had a "very bad experience" using their products but keep selling them here:
==> http://www.mlmwatch.org/04C/Herbalife/herbalife02.htmlIsn't that ridiculous? don't they ever think that if other people use that product, they can experience the same "very bad things" like them? These kind of people is the reason why many people hates MLMers, if you want to blame somebody, blame them.
Fourth reason, due the viral nature of MLM/NM, the market will very quickly become saturated, once they're saturated, only a handful people who joined the program earlier will make very good money, even if they stopped working while their downlines working like a slave under them, frustrated because they made little money, or no money, or even losing money because they have to keep buying the products. In my opinion, it's worse than having a job.
I predict that The Free Agent Path can't become a Free Agent Path forever, once the market is saturated, The Free Agent Path will become The Slave Agent Path, when that time is coming, everybody who becomes a sucker because of joining this program will blame their uplines(as happened to all MLM programs), I personally don't like to be blamed (most of you don't) so I opted out.
So don't join MLM or NM, if you already joined them, you probably need to consider to leave them. There's a lot of people who make a lot of money without sacrificing their lifestyle and without joining any MLM stuff. For example, Marlon Sanders made thousands of dollars per day working only two hours a day, sometimes he doesn't work at all, enjoying his vacation while his staff handling the customer service. Michael Green made a healthy six figure income on the net working part time and there's too many other examples out there, you've heard some of them.
If you involved in MLM or network marketing, please don't be offended with my post, I don't accuse you to be unethical, you probably just too naive to realize the damages caused by MLM in other people's life.
Before you criticise me about my opinion, please take your time to read Gary Halbert's "Why Multi Level Marketing Sucks" Again

Best Regards,
Andri Zhou
P.S Another thing you need to consider, if MLM is really good, why are some countries banned them?
They must have a reason for that.reason for that.
