I totally agree with this post!
XP is slow at times. It's clunky and has worse basic program controls than 98SE.
If I switched to XP, I'd have to replace probably 80% of my perfectly good software.
And, after reading the post after this one about XP being obsolete upon next version release, No Way!
98SE stays for a few more years at least...
Plus, I hear that WindowsUpdate for 98 will remain functional indefinately.(not updated, but working for reinstalls, etc.) That WAS a big concern...Bob
