Yup - I also used GetResponse and ran into the 1,000 broadcast limit. Eventually it took me 3 days to get my newsletter out. I also have used Infacta but ran into problems with my ISP. Evidently they have a lot of spammers and a lot of my mail was blocked. So I finally decided to clean out my mailing list and convert over to Aweber. What a difference.
I just got used to the clunkiness of GetResponse and now see what I was missing. I can track my mailings because I don't forget to check a box buried somewhere deep in their account settings. My mail is actually getting through. And I can add opt-in code much easier. I wondered why I wasn't getting more backend sales and it appears a lot of my mail was getting junked.
So - I lost most of my lists but they were not buying anyway. Big bummer but I'm sure I'll have better response with how I'm building my list now.
