Hello everyone,
I’d like to relate a PR story that happened to me this past week.
My local paper had a story about a Taxi Company and a customer service issue
they were having with a passenger. Basically the passenger was asking for a $25.00
refund which they definitely deserved. The taxi company refused.I read the story and felt compelled to write an article about the incident.
I sent a copy of my article to the reporter who wrote the story. A few days later I received a call from the reporter. He was going to do a follow-up story in his paper and he wanted to interview me.Next day the story came out and sure enough the reporter quoted me “small business consultant and marketing coach Kevin Toney……….”
Read your local papers for opportunities like this one. I’m going to make this one of my PR strategies now.
