There's ample explanation on the site that says anyone who pays the one-time upgrade fee gets their own links throughout AND will have some of their links embedded on the sites of the free users.
That's pretty cool, actually.
Some people aren't technically savvy or just have too much on their minds to do your "Poor Man's James Bond" version of HyperVRE, AND they aren't ready (or able) to spend $98 bucks. It's like LINKWARE - "use our template for free but leave a link back to our site (think they might make a few sales in the process?). Pay us $X and you can remove the link."
So pay HyperVRE $X and all your links are embedded. THEN you can be the distributor and give it away for people to use for free to earn Adsense revenue...but with some of YOUR links embedded in their template. If they pay $X, the links get replaced with theirs and YOU earn 50% commission for the one time upgrade.
So while I applaud you for sharing a do-it-yourself method, I don't think VRE should take a bad rap. And I'm not saying you INTENDED that, but I am saying this JUST IN CASE anyone gets the wrong impression.
I think your parody/wit was excellent. And I especially liked your backlink generating suggestions.
You da man,
Sam
