Sorry, I should clarify what I was saying - if the emails are sent from the customers website through their own web host, then the customer should be able to ask their hosting provider if they keep log files.

If the emails are sent from the EDP server (I'm not sure how EDP operates), then this won't be as easy.

It was just a suggestion, logs make not even be kept by hosting providers anyway.
