This is a good example of "buyer beware." I did read through Stephan's ebook (I am also from Canada and hold a marketing degree), much of his "stuff" was fluff and many people could avoid this by just taking a entry level Marketing course through their local college or university.

Marketing is not rock science - there is a structure that anyone can learn and put into place for their own business - whether it is on or offline. Unfortunately online - anyone can proclaim to be a "marketing guru" and be the flavour of the month. I am sure you have seen that in the constant email messages you receive.

I don't think a "black list" is the solution here. There are many good products out there from people who provide very good information and do so very consistently. Educate yourself first and you will be better able to determine what is "fluff" from what is "good quality" information.
