Here is another interesting idea, and a bit different for a pixel site,

It's made specifically for eBayer's to promote their eBay auctions. I've used it a few times with great success when promoting my eBay auctions. The thing I like about them is the pixel ads are not those tiny, tiny pixels, but large-enough-to-see pictures. And do you know how hard it is to NOT click on a picture? Maybe that's why it's so popular with the eBay community.
