This doesn't mean that download management systems aren't for new people though. I've had a lot of new internet business people use my software because it helps take care of some of the harder technical stuff such as setting up a sales process, emailing their customer, signing them up to a mailing list, etc.
This leaves them free to concentrate more on tweaking their website to increase sales conversions and promoting it.
If you're stuggling with enough money to pay your rent and buy your food, then I don't suggest buying *any* software or even *any* ebooks. You need to make sure you have an income first, even if it's from an offline job or venture.
If you do have an income stream though, and you can budget in buying business tools then it's still very much worth it, even if your site isn't yet turning a profit. An offline business doesn't usually turn a profit for anywhere between 6 months to a couple of years. Online businesses will turn a profit much quicker, but in most cases you will be in the red from the start which is what business capital or alternative income streams are for: to support your new venture as it launches.
Internet businesses are real businesses and need to be treated as such for you to succeed.
