PayPal - Credit Card Question?

Thanks John for your insight.
Question?
If I use PayPal, when a customer comes to my website, can he order products RIGHT THEN AND THERE with his choice of credit card?
Or does he have to sign up and first and get a PayPal account?
My customers are going to be autobody guys and gals, people wet-sanding fresh paint and then buffing out the car. Hard, dirty work.
Or possibly retailers checking us out perhaps buying wholesale.
If I have a customer, credit card in hand, say Visa or MasterCard, ready to buy... I don't want to lose a sale because when they go to order they first have to JUMP THROUGH A HOOP, i.e. go register with PayPal first.
Is that the way it works?
Or, if I use PayPal, can they whip out their credit card and BUY RIGHT NOW!
Were getting ready to run some ads on ESPN and I just don't want to lose a sale because our customers arn't as web-savy as other web shoppers.
Thanks,
Mike
