Couple things..
Most people don't have their screens set to 1024 x 728, usually it's 800 x 600.
You don't want people to have to start doing work when they get to your site.Try using a larger font headline for your site so people can quickly know what your site is about. People on the net don't usually want to start reading a letter until they know what the letter is about, ya know? Welcome to the site and thank you for coming! doesn't tell me what I'm about to read.
Look at the ad you have for Armand Morin's new thing. It says right at the top:

For The Rest of Your Life!I'm not saying you have to do a big hyped-up headline like that, but at least after reading that I have a good idea what the letter is about and I can decide if I want to bother reading it or not.
