In Response To: What are the best ways to advertise online on a budget of say $250-$500? (Kunle Olomofe)

Hello Kunle,
I've got some of your products and I've really enjoyed them. As per your question, I've just started an ultra-super-duper niche site: http://www.mydreadlocks.com.

It's been up for a month and was spidered within hours by Google!

Now, I've been focusing more on getting more content up, but in between time I've been contacting small niche directories related to my content. In fact, a small, free link on one of these directories drives the same amount of traffic Google does on a weekday.

As I improve SEO for http://www.mydreadlocks.com, I expect that directories won't drive the same amount of traffic, but will still be targetted.

When giving directories my links, I make sure that they're trackable so that I can measure conversions, blah, blah, blah. All this is especially important for the directories that request payment.

Not sure who I got this from since I've been reading so much stuff!

Hope to be in touch with you soon,
Natasha Vincent
Publisher, www.mydreadlocks.com

P.S. Keep up your good work.
