Hi all.
There is a lesson to b learned. Why you buy a site. Make sure you
get the domain transfer handled by a 3rd party independent moderator.Mike Chen took a break for a while and the domain was not transferred to
me. I emailed him and he said he would do it when he got back online and
etc...Not even an issue with me.
But what happened, we opened he door for 4 days to have a promotion
for the site. Some dipsh** spammed the site (BAD) and godaddy got
the complaints. I had no issue at at with my web host at all.And I get this silly notices all the time from godaddy for site
in my name.. I reply and it is taken care of 1.2.3.The issue here was they sent the emails to a dead account
mike at makeyourownsoftware. They got no reply. They shut it down.
I called, they would only talk to Mike Chen.
I got in touch with Mike on Wednesday. Thursday he sent
then the email. And Friday we should be back online. That is just what happened. I will write an article on
it for all IB members and also all my members so people
can learn from my mistakes and growing pains.Quick advice. Do only use godaddy for domains that do not
have affiliate traffic or newsletter emailing. They are the only domain registrar to my knowledge that
that plays spam cop. That is worse than your host.Your host you can change. But godaddy registrar locks you out
from your account and points the nameservers to 404 page. They hold you by the short hairs an they can keep you down
for ever. So make sure you keep that in mind when using them
to manage our domains. Thanks for all your support and we will be back in a few days.
Thanks
